Kepler’s Law of Gumption-Based Gravitation

How awesome are Mr. and Mrs. Kleeb?

First, they feel absolutely no need to hide their disdain for those who don’t meet their exclusive standards, which is delightful. (In a comic villian, that is. In an actual human, it sucks. I have occasion to deal with this type of person far more often than I’d like, a fact made worse by how absurd and pointless their standard tends to be. But I digress.)

Second, they are willing to call out April Fools day and, moreover, assume that their son’s engagement is nothing more than an elaborate prank for said holiday.

Some say the world revolves around the sun because of the gravitational field caused by its incredible mass. But clearly, the world revolves around the Kleebs, and I believe the scientific explanation for why would be “gumption.”

One final thing: The Kleebs are wealthy enough that their standards may approach that of royalty. Which is a polite way of saying “incestuous.” But based on intelligence levels, it also seems likely that some of the inhabitants of Gasoline Alley have known their siblings in the Biblical sense as well. Perhaps this will all end in everyone realizing that our similarities are greater and creepier than our differences. (Ideally just after the Kleebs have been unceremoniously dumped into a large pile of manure.)
