Tricks of the Light
Well, not much is happening today. Walt and Teeka observe that everyone who has entered their lives in the past several weeks have been awful humans. Really, not a terribly original observation.
So let’s focus on the middle panel. How do you get a white silhouette in front of a black background? Maybe they’re just cardboard cutouts, which—lets face it— might explain a lot.

So what planet is Teeka from, anyway? Planet of the Stereotypical Oriental Squirrel Women? I mean, are her cheeks packed with walnuts, or is she trying to impress Walt with a Marlon-Brandon-Godfather imitation?

That’s not Walt, her 110-year-old grandfather-in-law. It’s Adam, her 48-year-old husband.
Teeka is Micronesian and does look a bit odd in this strip. She’s looked better in other appearances during this storyline.

Blast, yeah, it is Adam. And I even knew that…
